How I edited my self-portrait photo
I started with this self-portrait photo - nothing special
I then duplicated the layer, edited the saturation and curves for a porcelain look. Next I added a gaussian blur, then set the layer mode to overlay and then changed the opacity to 50%.
Next step - I pasted in the original image into a new layer and reduced opacity to 30% so that the layers underneath showed through. I also used the brush tool set to blur some of the fine hairs around my mouth. that were annoying me.
